Data we process
- For each connected Page or account: its ID, name and username, the ID of the person who authorised the connection and the access tokens issued by Meta or LinkedIn. Tokens are encrypted (AES-256) and never displayed.
- Content: the text, images and dates of the posts prepared or scheduled, and the address of each post once it is live.
- Comments, mentions and statistics of the connected Pages, when the customer uses those features.
- A technical log (connections, posts, errors), without any access token.
Account passwords are never requested or stored: authorisation is given on Facebook or LinkedIn.
How we use it
This data is only used to run the service for the customer: publishing, scheduling, showing comments and statistics, and warning before an authorisation expires. It is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with any company other than those listed below.
Where it is stored
On the servers of Contabo GmbH, in the European Union. Content is sent to Meta or LinkedIn when it is published, since that is its destination.
Service providers: the host above; Meta Platforms and LinkedIn, which receive the posts; Microsoft 365, which delivers the warning emails.
Retention
- When a Page or account is disconnected, or when access is removed from Facebook, its tokens and connection data are deleted immediately.
- Content and the log are kept while the customer uses the service, then deleted on request within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR. Write to theboukiiteam@boukii.ch. How to delete your data is explained on the Data deletion page.
